The Datalogic Falcon™ X3 mobile computer is equipped with Datalogic’s patented Green Spot technology to provide warehouse and distribution centers with real-time data capture capabilities. Users can choose between the auto-ranging laser (XLR) scanner or a 2D imager combined with a 3-megapixel color camera.
Communication and security are also at the forefront of the X3 with its Summit 802.11 a/b/g radio with CCX v4 certification and the ability to use wired connections.
With its rugged design and rubberized plastic enclosures, the X3 can withstand drops onto concrete from up to 6 feet and exposure to water and dust. Despite this, the device will need occasional service.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance
- My Falcon X3 Won’t Turn On – A potential fix to this problem is a cold reset. First, remove the battery. Then press and hold the reset and scan buttons at the same time. Release the buttons, put the battery back in, and try turning it on. If this doesn’t work, an expert diagnosis may be required.
- Cracked Or Broken Screen – Frequent use can lead to a damaged screen. The best way to resolve the issue is to get it replaced.
- Cleaning The Falcon X3 – Keep your device clean using a damp cloth. Make sure to not use alcohol or any corrosive solutions.
