Our Depot Repair program offers affordable repair services for a variety of devices including mobile computers, barcode scanners, point-of-sale (POS) systems, printers, and network infrastructure equipment. A Depot Repair service agreement offers a more cost effective alternative to Advance Exchange, while still maintaining quick turn-around times. Depot Repair involves shipping the device(s) to our  service depot, which is equipped with the necessary tools, equipment, and expertise to diagnose and repair your equipment down to the component-level.

We offer flexible options, including 2, 3, and 5-day plans to accommodate your specific needs. Additionally, our programs include monthly reporting that provides valuable insights such as repair trend analysis by device model, repair resolutions, and device locations.

How It Works

Initiate & Verify Request

Create an RMA via the customer portal or by phone to speak with someone from our service center. You will need the serial number for the defective device and a brief description of the issue.

Ship Defective Device(s)

Once the RMA has been generated, you will need to prepare the device(s) for shipment by securely packaging it to prevent any damage during transit. You will then ship your device to our service center for repairs. We’ll notify you once we’ve received your device and provide you with updates throughout the repair process.

Repair Defective Device(s)

Upon receiving the device, our technicians will diagnose the issue(s), repair the device(s), and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Our technicians follow standardized procedures and employ their expertise to fix the identified issues. This can involve replacing faulty parts, conducting software updates, addressing hardware malfunctions, or resolving other technical problems. We make sure that all devices go through quality assurance testing to ensure that repaired components are functioning properly, software updates are applied correctly, and the devices meet the required performance standards.

Receive Your Repaired Device(s)

Once the repairs and inspections are completed, the repaired devices are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. They are then returned to the end-user through appropriate shipping methods or made available for pickup. Our customer support or service center will be available to assist you throughout the repair process, including any follow-up questions or support needed after the repair process is complete.
